Students will be able to work to progress through stage 1 and stage 2 of the ICT programme in Term 2. They will be expected to complete particular tasks on the computer without the assistance of the teacher and will recieve a certificate of achievement at the end of term.

Introducing new strategies / technique to learners

BUT like this runga, au, whare, tuanui, whero - they look different, even better if you have the collocations - i rung i , a au, i te whare - because I have given these words in chunks, I can make sentences - don't teach a whole lot of verbs together or a whole lot of nouns together
You have to meet a word 5 times over a week on average is good - builds on their learning / make the word memorable / involve humour is awesome
Get students to do something with the words not just memorising them. Making cards etc etc
