- Update your programme regarding class description, programme management etc
- Planning is due Monday week 1 for term 4
- Wearable arts is the main topic - integrated into all curriculum areas / make sure we the big idea in our topic - Telling our stories
- Have homework sheets sorted, shield maths sorted, basic maths sheets sorted
- Set up criteria for the week - Do a video of this each week
Week 5 Term 3 2014 TWA
- Will help teachers out with their blogs - be good to get students to obtain their parents' email addresses for any issues or compliments
- send through planning for absenteeism
- Talk about Ruth PD and how awesome it has been
- Panui - haere administered by Reggae / modelled for Ana (would like to do a PD for this)
- vowel sounds, recognise letters with macrons etc, blends - this is what we should go over prior to actually reading the books
- Evidence folders need to be up to date - this is just data and copies of latest tests / make sure it is dated - Te Reo a waha, Pangarau, Panui, Tuhituhi - have summary sheets for each section with their latest data.
- Personal Portfolios should have the students details, medications etc
- Planning Folder - Description of students, the class arrangements, insights about the students - have informal talks with students to get to know them / register of who gets certificates / do not make assumptions but state facts - eg Hupe goes to bed late (Judgement!) instead, Hupe talks about programmes that are on late (fact).
Week 9 Term 2 2014 TWA
- Registered teacher council criteria - knowledge and understanding of the criteria is essential. Need evidence to show appraiser
- Significant examples of practice - will be examined at the end of term
- Important to note all PD undertaken - includes staff meetings, ako panuku, TWA meetings, TPD - Targeted professional development
- Appraisal Report - Appraiser will look at this with the person being appraised
- Indicators of effective teaching practise at Clendon Park School is a formal document that teachers need to adhere to
